Role Overview

Qualified Staff seeks a dedicated and experienced Team Leader Residential Care Home to oversee the daily operations of our residential care home. This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 3 shifts per week, with each shift lasting approximately 11 hours.

The successful candidate will have a salary of £14,950 per year, inclusive of pension contributions and 28 days of annual leave.

Responsibilities:

* Lead a small team of carers in a residential care setting, ensuring high-quality care and support for residents.

* Manage medication cycles, including ordering, receiving, and auditing, to maintain accurate records and ensure resident safety.

* Develop and maintain accurate care plans, utilizing strong written English skills to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

* Conduct risk assessments and document them thoroughly, identifying potential hazards and implementing measures to mitigate risks.

* Foster excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Team Leader in a residential care home is essential, with a proven track record of managing carers, care planning, and medication management.

* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving high standards of care and service delivery.
