Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Development and Community Engagement Specialist to join our team at Children's Hospices Across Scotland.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled fundraiser to represent CHAS and make a positive impact on the lives of children and families supported by our organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To engage with local communities, build relationships and promote our work through face-to-face fundraising activities.
  • To identify and pursue new opportunities for fundraising, such as events and corporate partnerships.
  • To develop and implement effective strategies to increase donations and raise awareness about CHAS.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices.
