Job Title: Budget Management Professional

We are seeking a skilled Budget Management Professional to join our team at Aldwych Consulting Ltd in Hertfordshire.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in budget management, preferably in commercial or healthcare construction. They will be responsible for managing budgets, controlling costs, and providing commercial support throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage budgets, track spending, and ensure adherence to budget forecasts.
  • Control costs, monitor expenses, and identify areas for cost reduction.
  • Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors to secure fair pricing.
  • Support the project team to ensure cost management objectives are met.
  • Prepare tender documentation and oversee the tender process for projects.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of cost management experience, ideally in commercial or healthcare construction.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Degree in cost management, quantity surveying, or a related field.
