About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Finance Manager to join our team. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading the financial department, managing the annual budget, and ensuring the effective allocation of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the school's annual budget, allocating resources effectively.
  • Report to the Headteacher and all budget holders, providing regular updates on financial information.
  • Produce and present financial reports to the Senior Leadership Team and Governors.
  • Liaise with the Business Manager, HR, and Director of Estates, maintaining strict budgetary allowances for staff costs.
  • Oversee and support financial management of all school projects, including existing income-generating activities and new school developments.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a similar role within schools.
  • Proficient with software such as SIMS, FMS, Sage, Weduc etc.
  • Finance degree from a UK university (desirable).

Location: Wandsworth

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
