The MBDA UK Ltd is seeking a highly skilled System Engineer - Equipment Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the Weapon System Equipment team, you will be responsible for developing equipment policies and technical standards to improve capability.

In this role, you will work with a multi-disciplined team across all parts of the product lifecycle, including procurement, commercial, mechanical & electrical engineers, software engineers, trials & integration teams.

You will have the opportunity to apply your university learning to real-world engineering projects and technologies, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge weapon systems.

As an engineer within the Weapon System Equipment team, you will have a unique opportunity to develop skills in several areas, including technical, project management, and product delivery.

This 10-month undergraduate placement starting September 2025 offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of mechanical engineering and make a significant contribution to the company's success.

The estimated salary for this role is £20,000 per annum, and the location is Bristol. The working pattern will be a blended approach to on-site and remote working, depending on project requirements and the need for access to specific site facilities.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
