This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a Senior Engineering Manager for Submarine Systems at BAE Systems.

Competitive Salary:$80,000 - $110,000 per annum

About the Role

As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing a large group of stakeholders, coordinating inputs and outputs, programming work and reporting progress. Your excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills will be essential in communicating widely and effectively through diverse means.

The role involves setting within the Systems Engineering team of the SSNA programme, encompassing systems engineering tools and practices, with particular emphasis on requirements management, from derivation through to acceptance.

  • Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a large group of stakeholders, technical coordination of inputs and outputs, programming work and reporting progress.
  • Communicate widely and effectively through diverse means.
  • Presently, the work is largely centered on coordinating the derivation, extraction and application of requirements to submarine systems and equipment, but will evolve with design maturity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree-level qualification.
  • Experience working within an engineering function supporting a large product.
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
