We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our 2-bedded EBD residential service in Chorlton, Greater Manchester.

Responsibilities

">
  • Lead and manage a dedicated team of staff to provide high-quality care to children with emotional behavioural difficulties.
  • Collaborate closely with the company's quality team to ensure the efficient delivery and development of the service.
  • Maintain a deep working knowledge of health and social care, particularly in relation to Ofsted rules and regulations.
  • Foster strong people management and communication skills, as well as sound commercial understanding.

Requirements

">
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma (QCF) qualified in Children and Young People's workforce (or equivalent).
  • NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in residential childcare (or equivalent) – If not already completed, must be willing to complete.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a relevant position within the residential care of children.
  • 1 year's experience in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted standards.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
