Job Summary:

We are seeking a visionary leader to develop and manage the strategy and vision for our CAMHS service.

About Us:

Nottingham City Council is a leading authority that offers best practice in hosting and managing a CAMHS Single Point of Access (SPA) and pathway for the mental health and emotional well-being of children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the CAMHS service, aligning with the Council's values and priorities.
  • Promote the service and the Council's vision to employees, stakeholders, and the community.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to children and young people.
  • Manage services such as the Targeted CAMHS service, Mental Health Support Teams, and the Healthy Little Minds infant mental health service.

Requirements:

  • A dynamic leader with experience in developing services and driving change in the field of mental health.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate plans and KPIs into clear objectives for the team.
  • Sound clinical supervision models to ensure robust clinical decision making.
