Job Summary:
Luton Bennett is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our maintenance team and drive business growth. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the maintenance team to ensure all engineering work is carried out in compliance with site systems, H&S legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve plant and process performance, safety, and reliability.
- Manage the implementation of new plant and equipment, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the site, driving business growth and efficiency.
- Oversee all process and production engineering activities, ensuring seamless operation and high-quality output.
- Manage contractors and external partners to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.
- Collaborate with the Group Engineering Manager to develop and implement strategic plans for the engineering department.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading a maintenance team in an engineering/manufacturing industry.
- Relevant qualification in an engineering discipline.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Able to confidently introduce improvements and changes when needed, driving business growth and efficiency.
