As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of multiple high-risk and complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage site delivery teams, including site managers, foremen, gangers, machine operators, and operatives.
- Ensure safe and effective project delivery, managing client expectations and relationships.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to deliver projects to the highest possible standard.
- Manage the five key phases of multiple projects, including estimating, tendering, design, construction, and project close-out.
- Undertake the role of contractor, ensuring contracts are efficiently and effectively managed to maximize value.
- Proven experience in managing multiple high-complexity projects within the civil engineering discipline.
- 10 years or more experience preferred, with experience of managing projects over £2m.
- Chartered membership of a relevant professional body is desirable.
- Excellent commercial awareness and experience of delivering profitable works.
- Knowledge of risk management and proficient in the use of personal computers and business applications.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel throughout the UK.
