Package Delivery Driver

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team at Gi Group. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages safely and efficiently across Pendle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading vans with packages
- Scanning and checking labels on packages
- Ensuring packages are handled safely to prevent damage
- Unwrapping and wrapping pallets as needed
- Inspecting packages for any damage or faults
- Driving a 3.5t Sprinter van for bulk collection duties in the evening
Requirements:
- A valid UK Cat B Driving licence is essential
- A maximum of 6 points on your driving licence is acceptable
- Previous experience driving a 3.5t van is preferred
- You must have held your driving licence for at least 12 months
- We require someone with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- You must be physically fit to manually load and unload packages into the van (up to 30kg)
- A basic disclosure (DBS) check will be required
