About the Role

As a Principal Design Engineer or Senior Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and delivery of transmission and distribution protection and control systems for our end-customers. You will work closely with our sales and proposal teams to provide pre-sales support and technical input, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver transmission and distribution protection and control systems that meet the needs of our end-customers
  • Provide pre-sales support to our sales and proposal teams
  • Ensure that Siemens solutions are compliant with the latest policies and standards
  • Provide technical input for sales and proposals departments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on target and within scope

Requirements
  • Experience of National Grid delivery and specifications/standards are essential
  • A minimum qualification of HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering plus extensive experience in the Electricity Transmission and Distribution Industry
