Job Summary: As a Dispensing Medication Specialist at The Boots Company PLC, you will be responsible for ordering medicines, checking, dispensing, and endorsing of prescriptions, while also conducting final accuracy checks on dispensed items. You will work closely with Pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Order medicines, check, dispense, and endorse prescriptions
  2. Conduct final accuracy check of dispensed items before supplying to patients
  3. Oversee Dispensing Team Members when instructed by the Responsible Pharmacist
  4. Prepare, supply, and check prescriptions, provide advice and support
  5. Take medicine histories from patients and offer advice on treatment options
  6. Coach others to give advice about medicines and refer complex queries to Pharmacists as necessary

Requirements: A registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhC registration and Accuracy Checking Qualification. You should be passionate about patient and customer care, able to deliver high standards efficiently, and comfortable leading the dispensing team and supporting wider Healthcare Team.

What We Offer: A competitive base salary of £32,000 - £38,000 per annum, plus benefits including a generous holiday entitlement, Boots Retirement Savings Plan, and referral scheme.
