Medical Escort Specialist

In this Medical Escort Specialist role with EMED Group, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe transportation of elderly, sick and vulnerable service users to and from their medical appointments.
This is a highly demanding yet rewarding position that requires you to lift, secure and help service users in and out of the ambulance. The ideal candidate will be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, and hold a full UK driving licence with less than 6 points.
You will also need to be willing to pass an Enhanced DBS check and have a good degree of physical fitness. As a representative of EMED Group, you will be expected to maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport service users to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities
- Build rapport with patients and their relatives/friends
- Responsible for lifting, securing and helping service users in and out of the Ambulance
- Ensure the ambulance is kept safe, clean and tidy
