We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated pharmacy technician to join our team at Boots pharmacy in Wolsey Place Shopping Center, Woking. As an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of dispensed medications, while also contributing to the overall success of our pharmacy team.
Job SummaryThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities. You will work closely with Pharmacists to deliver high-quality services, while also providing guidance and support to the wider Healthcare Team.
Key Responsibilities- Managing and maintaining accurate records of dispensed medications.
- Verifying and checking prescriptions for errors or discrepancies.
- Preparing and dispensing medications according to prescription instructions.
- Providing advice and support to patients on medication use and management.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Pharmacy Regulator (GPhC).
- Degree in Pharmacy or related field (desired).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Competitive base salary: £29,000 - £33,000 per annum.
