Swimming Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher/Lifeguard to join our team at Kings Camps. As a Swimming Teacher/Lifeguard, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and safe swimming lessons to children aged 5-17, while also ensuring the overall safety and well-being of our campers.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to mixed ability groups, focusing on building water confidence and improving swimming techniques.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times, supervising them during swimming sessions and activities.
- Participate in poolside activities, such as depth testing and risk assessments, to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all campers.
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and deliver engaging and dynamic swimming sessions.
- Provide excellent customer service to parents and guardians, ensuring they are informed and satisfied with the swimming lessons and activities provided.
- 12 months experience as a swim teacher.
- Up-to-date SEQ Level 2 or STA Level 2 certification.
- Current Lifeguard Qualification: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or National Rescue Award to Swimming Teachers and Coach (NRASTC).
- 6 months experience working with 5-17-year-olds.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching or mentoring younger individuals.
- Collaborative attitude, comfortable with rotating duties and forming positive relationships with both children and staff.
- High-quality, enjoyable and worthwhile experience.

- Working in an experienced staff team of coaches and managers who provide a strong support network.
- Bi-weekly personal evaluation directly from your Manager.
