About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading internal and external reporting processes, providing technical accounting advice to the finance team and other departments, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate financial information. You will also be expected to maintain key control and reference documents, support systems transformation projects, and continually improve financial systems and processes.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in accounting, with a minimum of 5 years' experience post-qualification. You should have sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and experience of group accounting and preparation of Public Limited Company (PLC) style Annual Reports and subsidiary financial statements. Additionally, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements- ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
- 5+ years post-qualification experience
- Solid understanding of IFRS and group accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a contributory pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
