Job Title: Senior Cladding Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cladding Estimator to join our team at Steel Connexions Limited, a specialist recruitment company dedicated to the structural steelwork industry and associated trades.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Structural Steel estimating, with a strong background in estimating all required labour, materials, and equipment costs for large scale, multi-storey projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and produce tenders for Structural Steel and Cladding construction projects in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with estimating management, production management, site management, and company directors to ensure accurate pricing and project delivery.
  • Carry out material take offs and estimate all required labour, materials, and equipment costs, including MEWPs and Crane costs.
  • Liaise internally and externally as required to ensure accurate pricing and project delivery.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years estimating experience in the Structural Steel industry.
  • High level of familiarity with the UK Steel industry.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to work in an office-based environment.
