About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at RVU. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our insurance-based systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the migration of our architecture from C# ASP.NET,.NET Core to Go/Python.
  • Develop new application features to improve our products, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and meet our high standards.
  • Write high-quality code that follows our patterns and practices, and is fit for purpose.
  • Automate testing of built features to ensure seamless integration and minimal bugs.
  • Design and implement extensible functionality that meets our business needs.
  • Participate in peer reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions to improve our codebase.
  • Identify and resolve issues, clearly communicating their causes and solutions to the team.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and execute projects, setting realistic timeframes and milestones.
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge to help them grow.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in developing applications using Go/Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SOLID Principles, Web API, and React/Typescript.
  • Familiarity with SCRUM agile development methodologies and design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues.
  • Experience working in cloud computing environments, containerization, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
