About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at RVU. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our insurance-based systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the migration of our architecture from C# ASP.NET to Go/Python, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to our services.
  • Develop new application features to enhance our products, focusing on scalability, reliability, and user experience.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code that adheres to our coding standards and best practices.
  • Implement automation testing to ensure the reliability and stability of our features.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve issues, providing clear and concise communication to stakeholders.
  • Participate in project kick-off meetings, offering suggestions and timeframes to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive team growth and development.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in developing applications using Go, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C# ASP.NET.
  • Familiarity with SCRUM agile development methodologies and design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues.
  • Experience working in cloud computing environments, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
