Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PSV Technician to join our team at CD Auto Engineering Recruitment Ltd. As a specialist engineering and technical agency, we work with national and multinational companies within the HGV and Bus industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform 6 weekly inspections on commercial vehicles
  • Conduct pre-MOT checks
  • Work on a variety of commercial vehicles, including HGVs and PSVs
  • Hold a valid PSV driving license and have experience working on commercial vehicles
  • Have a City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
  • Hold a full UK driving license
  • Have experience working on HGVs and/or the qualifications to do so, such as NVQ level 3 or equivalent, and IRTEC qualified
  • Hold a Class 1, Class 2, or 7.5 Tonne driving license

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in PSV maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle mechanics and maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
