Principal / Associate Fire Safety Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal/Associate Fire Safety Engineer to join our team at Tetra Tech.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise in fire safety engineering, risk assessment, and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading fire safety engineering projects and providing expert advice to clients on fire safety-related matters.

About the Role:

  • Lead fire safety engineering projects from conception to completion
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating risks
  • Develop and implement effective fire safety strategies for buildings and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • MSc or PhD in Fire Safety Engineering, Risk Management, or related field
  • Chartered status with a professional body (e.g., CEng, MICE) or equivalent
  • Proven experience in fire safety engineering, risk assessment, and management
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
