The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Manager to join our team at Plasmor Ltd, a leading independent Concrete Building and Paving Block manufacturer. As a key member of our site Health and Safety Team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the maintenance of two rotary kilns and associated pre and post material processing equipment.
Duties of the Role
- Manage and coordinate the maintenance team.
- Oversee the Planned Preventative Maintenance scheme.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Systems.
- Identify and propose process improvements.
- Lead small-scale improvement projects, including justification, implementation, and appraisal.
- Manage spare part stock and procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical systems to identify performance, diagnose faults, and look for operational improvement.
- Appreciate system requirements to enable efficiency improvement.
- Understand process and equipment measurements to evaluate performance and discuss operating conditions/parameters.
- Prioritize and plan work demand.
- Maintain and update personal technical knowledge of engineering systems.
- Work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Present good problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas.
- Show a high level of commercial awareness and product appreciation.

Benefits Package
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
