Clay Operations Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Clay Operations team at Plasmor Ltd.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the maintenance of our rotary kilns and associated equipment, while also being a key member of our site Health and Safety Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the maintenance of rotary kilns and associated equipment.
- Lead the Health and Safety Team and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Manage spare part stock and procurement.
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge of engineering systems.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of engineering systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- High level of commercial awareness and product appreciation.
What We Offer
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- 22 days paid annual holiday increasing by 1 day per year up to 27 days, plus statutory holidays.

Working Conditions
A degree of physical activity is intrinsic within this role, including manual handling of large machinery parts/components and other equipment, negotiating steps/ladders/vertical ladders and above ground open-mesh floor walkways, accessing various areas of production machinery, at times the use of hand/pneumatic tools. There is also a requirement to wear items of personal protective equipment, (PPE), including, for certain tasks, respiratory protective equipment.
