Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our team at Reed. As an HR Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the HR team with a range of administrative tasks, including contract management, on-boarding, and change processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts, contract variation letters, and other employment-related correspondence for approval by the HR Advisers.
  • On-boarding and Change Processes: Support the HR team with the effective management of fixed term contracts, contract expiry dates, and funding end dates.
  • Right to Work Checks: Ensure that right to work checks are carried out as required by UKVI, checks on visa statuses are carried out, health clearances are obtained, and honorary contracts are sent in a timely manner and signed contracts returned.
  • Liaison Point: Act as the liaison point for all honorary appointments, queries, and requests, dealing with these in a timely manner.
  • Training and Development: In liaison with the Learning and Organisational Development team, ensure new joiners have completed all mandatory training before the end of their probation period.
  • Payroll Administration: Participate in monthly payroll review meetings and take forwards any appropriate actions.
  • HR Database Management: Maintain the HR database and other filing systems with accurate and up-to-date information in relation to all workers, including honorary appointees and new starters, contract changes, terminations, and other details as required.
