Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Nursing Assistant in Paediatrics to join our team at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Paediatric Continence Service, you will be responsible for supporting nursing staff with patient care and clinical assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist nursing staff with procedures, patient care, and clinical assessments, maintaining privacy and dignity.
  • Support the continence team in managing Nocturnal Enuresis treatments, including alarm therapy.
  • Provide information and advice to patients and families as directed by the clinical team.
Requirements:
  • NNEB/NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development or equivalent.
  • Educated to GSCE level in Maths or English or equivalent qualification or relevant experience in a Health Care Setting.
  • Diploma or equivalent appropriate qualification, e.g., foundation degree, or NVQ3 Level qual or relevant experience equivalent to diploma level.
Salary:

The salary for this role is approximately £25,000 - £29,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
