Job Overview

The Paediatric Continence Service is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to support the management of children and families within our service. As a Nursing Specialist Support Professional, you will work closely with nursing staff to provide clinical and patient care responsibilities, ensuring the highest standard of direct nursing care and maintaining patient dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical & Patient Care Responsibilities:
  • Assist nursing staff with procedures, patient care, and clinical assessments.
  • Coordinate and support toilet training, bladder scanning, and urinalysis for children and young people.
  • Support the continence team in managing Nocturnal Enuresis treatments, including alarm therapy.
  • Undertake continence product assessments with nursing staff and provide relevant advice to patients and families.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Ensure patient records are accurate, up-to-date, and in line with Trust policies.
  • Manage patient intake, verifying details and completing necessary documentation.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £26,530 - £29,114 per annum, based on experience. Additionally, you will receive a range of benefits, including a generous holiday allowance and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
