About this role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic colleague to join our team as a seasonal retail assistant at Tesco Bridgend Brewery Ln Superstore. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent customer service.

As a seasonal retail assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include serving customers, maintaining store displays, and supporting your colleagues in achieving sales targets.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.02 with the opportunity to increase to £13.15 for stores within the M25. In addition, you will benefit from a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with opportunities to work additional hours during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving Customers: Greet customers with a smile, answer their queries, and provide assistance whenever possible.
  • Maintaining Store Displays: Ensure that store displays are well-organized and visually appealing, promoting products and driving sales.
  • Supporting Colleagues: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, maintain high standards of customer service, and ensure a positive store environment.
