KS2 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our KS2 pupils.
Key Responsibilities:- Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, other professionals, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils.
- Assist the class teacher with delivering lessons and sessions to small groups, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Have a deep understanding of children's needs, enabling you to plan and deliver targeted interventions that make a real difference.
- Establish trusting relationships with pupils, interacting with them in a way that supports their individual needs and promotes their well-being.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in a relevant field.
- Relevant experience working with children in a school setting, with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
- A passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that promotes academic excellence and social growth.
- Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs, with a strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
- Enhanced DBS clearance, with assistance provided if required.
