- Establish trusting relationships with pupils and provide individualized support to meet their unique needs.
- Assist the class teacher with delivering lessons and sessions to small groups, promoting active learning and participation.
- Have a good understanding of children's needs and develop interventions to support their social, emotional, and mental health.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in a relevant field.
- Relevant experience working with children in a school setting, with a focus on KS2 students.
- A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and ability to support teaching staff in delivering lessons.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
- Experience supporting children with SEMH needs and ability to develop interventions to meet their needs.
- Enhanced DBS clearance, with assistance provided if required.
