Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that fosters academic growth and social development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to deliver high-quality lessons and interventions.
  • Establish trusting relationships with pupils and provide individualized support to meet their unique needs.
  • Assist the class teacher with delivering lessons and sessions to small groups, promoting active learning and participation.
  • Have a good understanding of children's needs and develop interventions to support their social, emotional, and mental health.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in a relevant field.
  • Relevant experience working with children in a school setting, with a focus on KS2 students.
  • A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and ability to support teaching staff in delivering lessons.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • Experience supporting children with SEMH needs and ability to develop interventions to meet their needs.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance, with assistance provided if required.
