KS2 Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our KS2 pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to deliver high-quality lessons and interventions that meet the needs of our pupils.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and sessions to small groups, providing individualized support and guidance as needed.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and the community, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusivity.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in a relevant field.
  • Relevant experience working with children in a school setting, with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • A passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that promotes academic excellence and social growth.
  • Experience supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs, with a strong understanding of behavior management techniques.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance, with assistance provided if required.
