Overview

Stirling Dynamics is seeking a highly experienced Chief Engineer to lead our engineering teams and drive technical excellence in our projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering leadership, with experience in managing complex projects and teams. They will be responsible for providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The Chief Engineer will work closely with our business development team to identify new opportunities and develop technical solutions that meet our customers' needs. They will also be responsible for leading technical bid activities, developing technical proposals, and managing the technical aspects of our projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization. They will be a strategic thinker, able to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions to complex technical problems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering teams and provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Manage technical bid activities, including developing technical proposals and leading technical presentations
  • Collaborate with business development team to identify new opportunities and develop technical solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in engineering, with experience in managing complex projects and teams
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Strategic thinker, able to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions to complex technical problems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
