About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Education Programme Coordinator to join our team at MacIntyre. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering individual learning programmes for young people with complex needs.

Working closely with our Community Teaching Assistants, you will ensure that learners' programmes are maintained to a high standard throughout the learning cycle. This will involve setting realistic goals and targets, overseeing the planning and delivery of learning, and evidencing and assessing progress.

With a strong background in SEN education and management experience, you will inspire and demonstrate a commitment to high-quality education for young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver individual learning programmes for young people with complex needs
  • Work closely with Community Teaching Assistants to ensure high-quality programme delivery
  • Set realistic goals and targets, and oversee the planning and delivery of learning
  • Evidence and assess progress, and provide feedback to staff
  • Lead and manage a team of Community Teaching Assistants, providing training and guidance as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 5 teaching qualification or PGCE
  • Management experience, preferably in a SEN education setting
  • Experience working with children or young people with complex needs
  • A driver's license and access to a vehicle
