Join our Electronic Warfare Support Group (EWOS) as a Countermeasure Development Engineer and contribute to the creation of cutting-edge countermeasure solutions for our defence customers.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Countermeasure Development team. As a Countermeasure Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our in-house countermeasure simulation software tool, CounterWorX. This will involve modeling physical interactions and phenomena across dynamic simulations, as well as working closely with our software development team and assurance process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain CounterWorX, our in-house countermeasure simulation software tool
  • Model physical interactions and phenomena across dynamic simulations
  • Work closely with our software development team and assurance process
  • Analyze and design countermeasure techniques across a variety of real-world scenarios
  • Verify countermeasure parameters for best performance against specific threats
Requirements
  • Degree in a STEM subject, ideally in Mathematics, Physics, or Electronics
  • Experience using programming software, such as MATLAB, Simulink, or Python
  • Experience in at least one stage of model development, including design, build, integration, test, and deployment
  • Deployment of models to batch running hardware
