We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer Candidate to join our finance team in Sunderland, United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial planning and analysis strategies to drive business growth.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring financial stability and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes, including audits.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
