We are seeking a skilled Field Application Specialist to join our Industrial Measurement organization at Vaisala in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our high-tech products.

About the Role

You will be part of our Field Service team, working closely with our sales team, R&D professionals, and customers to deliver exceptional technical support. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Installing and configuring software and hardware data loggers.
  • Providing customer training and technical support.
  • Executing IQOQ protocols and mapping.
  • On-site calibration of various sensors, including temperature, humidity, and differential pressure.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering, IT, or Metrology.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role.
  • Knowledge of IT and networks.
  • Proven experience in customer service.
  • A basic understanding of calibration is a plus.
  • Problem-solving skills with creative ability.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • A valid driver's license.
