Job Title: Senior Salesforce Architect

Capital Economics is a leading independent macro-economic research provider, and we are seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of our Salesforce platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our business and delivers exceptional value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of our Salesforce platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our business and delivers exceptional value to our clients.
  • Manage the Salesforce administration team and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to support the platform.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external Salesforce suppliers and ensure they are providing the best possible service.
  • Advise on Salesforce security best practices and data compliance, ensuring our platform is secure and compliant with all relevant regulations.
  • Lead the design of the target Salesforce architecture and ensure it is scalable and maintainable.
  • Perform initial Salesforce project engagement and requirements scoping, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and aware of the project's objectives.
  • Create and manage Data Metrics and Key Performance Indicators, ensuring we are measuring the right things and making data-driven decisions.
  • Lead the training of other members of staff on the Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to support the platform.
  • Design and support the integration of Salesforce with other business platforms, ensuring seamless data exchange and minimal disruption to our operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience of leading a Salesforce team and managing the administration team.
  • Apex programming experience and knowledge of multiple Salesforce technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a desire to own and resolve issues and challenges that impact the Salesforce platform.
  • Awareness of the latest Salesforce technologies and trends, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Extensive experience in the systems delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, configuration, integration, testing, migration, and deployment.
  • In-depth understanding of Salesforce data modeling and the ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration.
  • Proven ability to work as a Salesforce administrator/developer on large-scale deployments and lead the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions.
