As a Principal Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering expert support to engineering delivery teams in defining electromagnetic requirements and undertaking specialist testing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage requirements and acceptance criteria specific to systems, platforms, or programmes.
  • Advising design teams on Electromagnetic Environment (EME) requirements and design considerations.
  • Liaise with EMC test engineers to design and specify testing regimes to prove system compliance against relevant standards.
  • Design and implement system mitigation to meet EMC standards.
  • Mentor and coach Engineers within the team.

Your skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Chartered professional registration or evidence of working towards it.
  • Experience in design for EMC compliance.
  • Knowledge of Defence Standards would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience and ability to coach others in a team.

Benefits:
