About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Visual Arts Educator to join our team at Alexandra Park Childrens Learning Community. As part of our educator team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality arts experiences for children, while working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the successful running of the nursery.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging arts programs for children aged 0-5
  • Collaborate with educators to develop and implement curricula that integrate arts learning across all areas
  • Provide opportunities for children to explore various art forms and media
  • Support children in developing their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through arts-based activities
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and achievements

Requirements

  • Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years or related field
  • Minimum 6 months' experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or working with children under 5
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Working knowledge and experience in the arts, including music, art, design, film, or photography
  • Qualification in a relevant arts discipline
  • Demonstration of Storal values in all interactions
