About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Ciena Technical Presales Consultant to join our team at TD SYNNEX UK Limited.

As a member of our CoE Networking & Security team, you will be responsible for the technical go-to-market for Ciena, achieving Ciena training curriculum and needed certifications to provide expertise on Ciena solutions.

You will collaborate and align with COE colleagues, Ciena in-country resources, and Ciena to understand the technical business requirements and growth initiatives to propose and support relevant Ciena solutions.

Responsibilities include responding to technical solution inquiries, leading and supporting Ciena solutions, evangelizing Ciena partner community on Ciena technology, and participating in pre-sales activities to accelerate wins.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Networking area
  • Strong hands-on experience with relevant certifications in Networking domain (Ciena desirable but not mandatory)
  • Comprehensive knowledge on networking architectures, design, operations, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to conduct product demonstrations, Proof-of-Concepts, and present to business and technical users
  • Ability to articulate technical or operational problems or issues into simple understandable business terms
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision and result-oriented
  • High level of English and additional European languages to have local language exchanges with our Country and Partners
