Job Title: Teaching Assistant for Special Needs

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team and support a child with special needs in a Reception class. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and be able to provide emotional, physical, and learning support.

About the Role
  • Support the pupil's emotional, physical, and learning needs in a Reception class
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Foster positive relationships to help the pupil achieve their learning goals
  • Organize the learning environment and ensure adequate learning materials
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate curriculum activities alongside the teacher
  • Assist with behavior management programs and ensure pupil safety

  • Be able to do the job as described
  • Experience working with ASD
