Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced midwife to lead our preterm birth service. The successful candidate will have a strong background in midwifery and a passion for research and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to women at risk of preterm birth, adhering to national standards and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based pathways for preterm birth care.
  • Lead on research and development projects, working with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and quality improvement.
  • Develop and maintain clinical skills, staying up-to-date with best practices and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Registered midwife with a diploma or degree in midwifery.
  • Extensive clinical experience in a preterm birth service.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and projects.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
