Job Description

**Technical Manager**

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join our team at Alexander Steele Recruitment. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the technical arm of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the technical team across a fast-paced manufacturing site.
  • Act as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, assisting on all technical-related matters.
  • Ensure that the site complies with industry regulations and customer requirements.
  • Embed a continuous improvement ethos into the technical and quality department.
  • Manage and lead internal audits.

Background Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in senior technical management roles.
  • Experience working within a high-risk/high-care food manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Lead Auditor certification.
  • HACCP Level 4/Food Safety Level 4.

What's on Offer:

  • Paying up to £80,000.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
  • Monday – Friday (8:30am - 5pm).
  • Company pension.
