Lead Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in child and adolescent psychotherapy, with experience in leading teams and providing clinical supervision.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child and adolescent mental health, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands to meet deadlines.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement evidence-based child and adolescent psychotherapy programs
- Provide clinical supervision and support to team members
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery
- Contribute to research and audit initiatives in child and adolescent mental health
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service outcomes

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum

Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- Leading the systematic provision of a high-quality, highly specialist parent-infant psychotherapy service to clients across all sectors of care
- Providing specialist, Parent-Infant interventions, including developing group work within the community and virtually
- Providing clinical supervision to parent-infant psychotherapists
- Undertaking and supervising highly specialist parent-infant psychotherapy assessments and treatments to service users
- Conducting, promoting, and facilitating audit and research within the perinatal field
This role requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of infant mental health, child development, and perinatal mental health, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
