Patient Services Assistant - Evening Housekeeper
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Assistant to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As an Evening Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Main Responsibilities
- Work with the Ward Team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times.
- Regenerate food at ward level, following established procedures to ensure food is held at the correct temperature.
- Maintain the ward kitchen to a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
- Monitor and record fridge temperatures daily, reporting any issues as necessary.
- Ensure refrigerated food is labeled and stored correctly.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team. As a Patient Services Assistant, you will work closely with the Ward Team and Hotel Services Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the ward kitchen.
Requirements
- Demonstrable customer care experience.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable.
- Proven GCSEs in English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage deadlines.
