We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credit Control Specialist to join our team at Shaneel Enterprises Ltd. As a key member of our Accounts & Finance team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Accounts & Finance team, including answering queries, processing documents, and maintaining accurate records.
- Run daily aged debtors reports and ensure timely payment of debts.
- Chase overdue invoices and negotiate payment terms with customers.
- Handle disputed invoices and provide accurate information to resolve queries.
- Update sales ledger information using internal software and reconcile accounts.
- Open new customer accounts and ensure accurate information is recorded.
- Apply for credit and ensure insurance is in place for new customers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Produce reports and presentations using MS Office applications.
- Communicate effectively with customers and maintain a professional relationship.
- Check bank statements, declare payments, and update cash books.
- Provide cover for team members during periods of annual leave.
- 3 GCSEs or NVQ/AAT Level 2/3 or equivalent.
- IT literate and able to use MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and meet set deadlines.
- A willingness to work flexibly and as part of a team.
- Basic accountancy knowledge and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Integrity and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
