About the Role:


As a valued Support Worker with Thera South West, you will be part of an inclusive team supporting adults with a learning disability. Your role will involve helping individuals create innovative ways to achieve their personal goals, aims, and ambitions.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Supporting people in their daily lives, including helping them develop new skills, providing personal and emotional support, and assisting with leisure activities.
  • Helping individuals plan and manage their own homes, as well as supporting them with employment, individual interests, and travel.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment and creatively solving problems to meet the unique needs of each individual.

  • No previous experience or qualifications are required, as we provide free, Skills for Care endorsed full training.
  • Compassionate, caring, confident, and resilient individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starters with a high level of motivation, keen to learn in a fast-paced environment and creatively solve problems.
  • Individuals who desire to embrace our values and vision and have fun.
