Planning Department Leader

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of planners and contribute to the development of towns and cities.

Main Tasks:
  • Leading and managing planning projects from inception to completion.
  • Providing expert advice on planning matters, including compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals, and other related documents.
  • Conducting site assessments, feasibility studies, and impact assessments.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to develop innovative planning solutions.
Key Requirements:
  • Chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
  • Proven experience in town planning within the UK.
  • Excellent knowledge of planning legislation, policies, and procedures.

Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per year.
