We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as an Emergency Department Specialist Manager. As a key member of the Adult Emergency Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Role

The post holder will be responsible for coordinating and managing care for High Impact Users, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to assess and develop personalized care plans. You will also provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members, ensuring that they receive the necessary support and resources to deliver excellent patient care.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will also require a strong understanding of complex patient needs and the ability to develop and implement effective care plans.

As an Emergency Department Specialist Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and managing care for High Impact Users
  • Providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
