Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Supply Chain Manager to join our team at HCA Healthcare UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for managing the supply chain for our theatre department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage the procurement of goods and services, inventory management, and stock replenishment to ensure that the theatre department has the necessary supplies to operate efficiently.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of supply chain technicians and loan kit coordinators to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including reviewing minimum/maximum levels, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across clinical and non-clinical roles within the surgical areas and supply chain.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize the supply chain and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in materials management, ideally within a healthcare environment.
  • Education: Degree qualified or studying towards CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
